We are very excited to be re-opening The Manor School of Fine Cuisine, formally The Nottingham School of Cookery, in a great new venue, in France, selected for the abundance of very fine local produce, excellent markets and wonderful rural location. The new school is called The French Living School of Cuisine. The French Living School of Cuisine is in Blingel, 70 minutes drive south of the port of Calais and an hour from Calais Fréthun (Eurostar / Channel tunnel). There are so many places of interest in this beautiful area of Côte D’Opale, Baie de Somme. A thirty minute drive west takes you to the costal resort of Paris Plage, Le Touquet. Les chambres d'hôtes sont spacieuses et tellement calmes, un endroit parfait pour se reposer. Claire est très accueillante, le petit déjeuner est très généreux avec des produits locaux. Elle donne aussi des cours de cuisine

On Tuesday 24th April me & my mother attended the flower arranging course. It was a lovely day. We enjoyed every minute. Waited on by Claire. Nothing was too much trouble. Served beverages and a delicious 3 course meal. Rosemary was an excellent florist & gave us many tips. Thank you for a very enjoyable lovely day.
10th Birthday Party Cookery. Excellent, girls made all of the party food and had a great time.
