Margaux, Thank you for your 1 star review, you stayed with us for a week in Summer 2020. That was the first year of covid, pre vaccines, when we were disinfecting everything. You left the gite with a bathroom bin overflowing with dirty baby's nappies and made no attempt at cleaning the gite. We made a cleaning charge because our cleaner took hours more than usual as she had to disinfect the dirty bins, the dirty high chair, the kitchen to protect the people who were going to be going in there after you. You asked us for evidence, we sent you the pictures that our cleaner had taken. You gave us a 1 star review back in 2020, we made no comment at the time. You have now refreshed your review in February 2025 even though you have not been near here in five years, and the review has gone back…

Dave and Kath were perfect hosts. We had a really lovely stay - very peaceful, lovely views and just the tonic we needed. The gite was really well equipped and had everything we needed. The location is excellent and Dave and Kath gave us lots of recommendations on places to visit. We highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stay. Situated in a small quiet village and only a short drive to Mirepoix for bars and restaurants. Hosts here are really helpful and more than happy to provide suggestions on where to go.

Fabulous holiday in magnificent location. Kath and Dave are exemplary hosts - nothing is ever too much trouble. The pool is a wonderful amenity. Would highly recommend a holiday in Hideaway in France Gites!

We enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful week in Gite Bordeaux - chosen because it has 4 bedrooms each with good ensuite facilities. The property was the cleanest and best equipped gite we have stayed in in France. Even the barbecue was spotless! …
